THE UNWRITTEN LOVE LETTERS : INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION
Like golden pixie dust
falling from Neverland, sparkly dust fell as the maiden's hand dusted an old
shelf with a fluffy feather duster. The place appeared to be unused for years.
Mysteriously, an old key fell from the top of the shelf which was hidden
in-between the stack of books. A young girl who was dusting the shelf took the
key. It was an antique yet rusty key.
Out of curiosity, she tried it on every
keyhole in the room. Nothing seemed to be the right lock for the key. She took
another keen look at it. It was not like any other ordinary key found in the
house. It was a Yale key with the letters "SC" printed on it. She
continued to clean the room as she couldn't figure out where the right keyhole
was.
The next day, Mr. Stephen, along with his
men arrived to renovate the house. As part of the work, the wooden flooring in
the house was removed. A wooden chest with a small lock was discovered under
the flooring while renovating the room. They handed over the chest to the girl
before returning to their workshop. She immediately had the spark that, the key
she found earlier must belong to this wooden chest.
She inserted the key into the chest
without a second thought and opened the chest without any hesitation. An ivory
blush gown with gold pearl beadwork with a fuller skirt, a photo album, a few
paintings, and a plain black satin shirt was found inside the wooden chest.
Among all the items that she discovered in the chest; a diary caught her
attention.
As she looked closer, she noticed the "SC" symbol on the
cover of the diary. She was intrigued by that symbol on top. There was a hint
of vanilla and grass lingering in the book's wood-based papers. As she turned
the pages, the blazing midday sun changed into violent weather with heavy hail
and strong gusty winds. She began reading the diary.
